Drag Race UK fans declare season 4 premiere looks ‘best in show’s history’

Drag Race UK’s fourth season kicked off with a bang this week and fans are already declaring it to have “one of the strongest casts” in herstory.

As per, the queens will duke it out week after week in a variety of challenges, runway presentations and lip-sync smackdowns, as well as the iconic Snatch Game.

The first episode introduced viewers to the 12 fierce queens that are in the running to become Britain’s Next Drag Superstar: Baby, Black Peppa, Cheddar Gorgeous, Copper Topp, Dakota Schiffer, Danny Beard, Jonbers Blonde, Just May, Le Fil, Pixie Polite, Sminty Drop and Starlet.

Dakota Schiffer makes herstory as the first openly trans contestant to compete on Drag Race UK, with Danny Beard becoming the first bearded queen to be judged on a version hosted by RuPaul.

The brand new season opened with the contestants having to take part in a photoshoot inspired by the Spice Girls’ iconic Olympics 2012 performance, which Black Peppa emerged victorious from.

Dame Joanna Lumley joined the panel of judges for the main challenge, which saw the queens tasked with serving two looks on the runway – one inspired by the BBC’s 100-year anniversary and the other needing to showcase who they are.

Black Peppa once again emerged victorious, with Dakota and Just May finding themselves in the bottom and having to deliver a lip-sync to Let Them Know by Mabel.

Just May was tragically eliminated, making her the first season four queen to sashay away.
