Children born outside the UK to same-sex British parents left stateless by Home Office

Children born outside of the UK to British parents in same-sex relationships have been left stateless by the Home Office, according to The Guardian. The department has told British nationals and their EU partners that children born abroad to a British parent (who was also born outside of the country) are ineligible for citizenship. Father beats six-year-old son for sitting on boy’s lap in homophobic attack

A father beat his six-year-old son before attacking the child’s mother after seeing him sitting on another boy’s lap.
