Both and Newyear announce engagement after Thailand passes marriage equality bill
Cue the wedding bells, Thai actors Both Nattapong and Newyear Kitiwhut are officially engaged. On 18 June, Thailand took a monumental step forward for LGBTQIA+ rights when 130 senators voted in favour of enacting marriage equality –which would make it the third territory in Asia after Nepal and Taiwan to do so.
